Award winning photo taken in the coastal town of Pacifica California. Achieving this image took lots of courage battling waves and a rising tide. Camera Exposure times of 30 seconds was required to achieve a nice milky surface to the water. Of course, adding in a spectacular fiery sunset greatly helped with the composition.
